Sarah SANTAMARIA-MERTENS - Director

After a professional master's degree in Script and Audiovisual Writing, Sarah Santamaria-Mertens joined in 2014 the first promotion “Writing and Creation of Séries” from la Fémis. There she meets Angela Soupe with whom she develops the HP series. Season 1 (Best 26 Minute Series Award at the 2018 La Rochelle TV Fiction Festival), produced by Lincoln TV, airs on OCS in December 2018. She wrote and directed the Season 2 (released in automn 2021 on OCS).

At the same time, she collaborated in the writing of feature films and directed her first short film, Blind Sex, which traveled to many festivals and won several awards as well as a selection for the César 2018.

She is currently developing her first feature film Les Garçons ne pensent pas comme toi with Rezo Productions and has just directed the Fluide series, a 10x6 minutes dramedy about sex and couples free written by Thomas Cadène and Joseph Saffiedine, and produced by Kelija for Arte Creative.
