Chris Saunders is a Paris based South African photographer and filmmaker. Starting out in fashion, editorial and advertising he later ventured into documentary projects centered around African subculture with his own optimistic and vivid perspective.

Saunders has contributed and been commissioned by numerous well known global publications and continues to enjoy collaborations with some of the world's leading agencies, records labels, musicians and brands both as a director and photographer. . What unifies much of Saunders output is its empowering exploration of social diversity in contemporary culture with a strong focus on expression through performance and dance. Chris Saunders is also part of the dynamic director Duo Ben&Chris who are in the process of finishing their first feature length documentary with Christian Dior on the renovation of 30 Avenue Montaigne and have recently wrapped up a commercial for Bentley Motors.
